The purpose of a public meeting of the Board of Directors (“Board”) is to conduct the affairs of the Schools in public. Your participation assures us of continuing community interest in our Schools. To assist you in the ease of speaking/participating in our meetings, the following guidelines are provided: \n1. Agendas are available to all audience members at the door to the meeting. \n2. Members of the public may address the Board on agenda items or matters not listed on the agenda using one of the following methods: \n• In Person: Members of the public may address the Board by completing a “Request to Speak” form prior to the beginning of the meeting or before the agenda item is called. A person may designate a member of the public to speak on their behalf. \n• Written Comment: Written comments may be submitted online using the google form link located on the agenda no later than 4 hours before the start of the meeting. Written comments will be acknowledged by the Board Chair during the meeting and become part of the public record. \n• In accordance with California's open meeting laws, the Board may receive public comment on non-agenda items but may not discuss or take action on those matters during the meeting. \n• These presentations are limited to three (3) minutes and total time allotted to non-agenda items will not exceed fifteen (15) minutes. The Board may give direction to staff to respond to your concern or you may be offered the option of returning with a citizen-requested item. Complaints against specific school employees should be resolved through the school’s Personnel Complaint Procedure.
