The Compliance officer works to ensure operations and business transaction follow all relevant federal, state and local regulations and policies; as well as the agency’s internal policies. As a member of the senior management team, the compliance Officer will serve as a trusted advisor on a broad range of legal matters, supporting business negotiations with partners and delegates, advising on employment matters, procurement, programmatic regulatory compliance. The Compliance Officer works collaboratively with the agency’s outside legal counsel.  \nResponsibilities  \n● Ensures that agency’s policies are is followed and adhered to by all units of the agency, and that the messaging and behavior of the agency reflect the policies and procedures of the agency.  \n● Create and oversee control systems in order to prevent or mitigate violations, evaluate the efficiency of controls and continuously improve and revise procedures to identify risk or non-conformity issues.  \n● Development of compliance plans, guiding and educating the management team and staff on compliance matters, updating knowledge on regulatory changes, and responding to government investigations and interrogatories.  \n● Conducting and overseeing internal reviews or audits to ensure compliance procedures are followed  \n● Preparing appropriate compliance reports with regulatory agencies  \n● Ensure that the operations and business transactions of the agency follow all relevant legal and internal rules by developing and implementing an effective and efficient legal compliance program;  \nQualifications  \nThe Compliance Officer reports to the Vice President of Programs and serves as a member of the senior management team. All candidates should have demonstrated exceptional communication skills and must be a results-driven and service-driven individual, with excellent problem solving skills.
