They will be the unified voice for Community Pharmacy within the PCN and will be responsible for the 2-way communication, both to Community Pharmacies in the PCN and PCN Clinical Directors, relaying important information and updates which will be supported by the LPC. \nKey Responsibilities of the PCN Lead \n• Act in good faith, for the benefit of all NHS community pharmacy contractors in the PCN; \n• Provide leadership for the Community Pharmacies in the PCN to help them develop and implement a collaborative approach of engagement with the PCN; \n• Provide regular and timely reports on relevant developments within the PCN to contractors in the PCN area and with the LPC; \n• Adhere to any general guidance on the role of the Pharmacy PCN Lead issued by PSNCand/or NHS England and NHS Improvement; and \n• Only make decisions on behalf of other community pharmacy contractors in the PCN area with the agreement of all those contractors. \n• Provide leadership for the Community Pharmacies in the PCN to help them collaboratively develop and implement an approach of engagement with the PCN \n• Work closely with the key members of staff of the other pharmacies in the PCN to discuss, understand and be able to describe how Community Pharmacy can support the PCN to achieve local targets, aligned to national NHS priorities \n• Develop relationships and work closely with the PCN Clinical Director, other Pharmacy PCN Leads in neighbouring areas, clinical leaders of other primary care, health and social care providers, local commissioners and the Local Pharmaceutical Committee (LPC); and \n• Manage any conflicts of interest and maintain the confidentiality of any PCN information shared with them on a confidential basis \nAchieving the criterion for the PCN Domain \nThe contractor must have engaged with the Pharmacy Primary Care Network Lead (Pharmacy PCN Lead) to communicate that they would like to be involved in increasing the uptake of flu vaccination to patients aged 65 and over for the 2021/22 influenza season. All communications between the contractor and Pharmacy PCN Leads must be completed by 31st December 2021. \nTo increase the uptake of flu vaccination to patients aged 65 and over and to drive quality improvement in service delivery, the Pharmacy PCN Lead must: \n• engage w","cbCaimFq8x3mVjwk","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaimFq8x3mVjwk","pdf",906884,26,"English","# Introduction\n## The role of the Community Pharmacy PCN Lead\n## The Key responsibilities of the PCN Lead\n## The Seven Nolan Principles\n# Achieving the criterion for the PCN Domain\n# GMLPC Plan & Timescales\n# Summary of the Resources Available and Checklist\n# Step 1: Contacting the Community Pharmacies in your PCN\n# Step 2: GMLPC introductory communication to the Clinical Director\n# Step 3: PCN Lead meeting with Community Pharmacies\n# Step 4: Contacting the Clinical Director in your PCN\n# Step 5: Data Collection & Sharing","[{\"question\":\"What is the main purpose of the Community Pharmacy PCN Lead role?\",\"answer\":\"The PCN Lead shapes engagement between community pharmacy and the PCN, acting as a single channel of engagement.
