Agreement Template  \nDescription: This tool can be used to formalize the agreement/contract between a DAS provider or stakeholder anda CBA that has been recruited.  \nIntended User: Human resources personnel or CBA supervisor from a DAS provider or DAS support organization and the CBA (as they would be required to sign as part of their CBA agreement/contract) .  \nMaterials Needed: To adapt this agreement, other organizational policies, contracts, or agreements should be ready to cross-reference.  \nSteps:  \nStep 1: Review the language in this Agreement and compare it to your own.  \nStep 2: Based on the Adaptations Needed as described below, replace the words put in brackets ‘[   ]’ with your own organizational information. Alternatively, you can consult your existing Agreement to determine whether missing information, such as information on gender and social norms, should be added to your Agreement.  \nStep 3: Update any related policies or manuals whose language should also change to be consistent with the Agreement.  \nStep 4: Follow internal procedures for policy approvals.  \nStep 5: If relevant, share the Agreement with external stakeholders, e.g., implementing partners and contractors prior to presenting to CBAs for their agreement and signature.  \nTime Needed: It will take approximately 30 minutes to review this CBA Agreement template and consider its implications. However, adapting it verbatim could take one hour to several weeks depending on how you need to adapt the template and then have it adopted by your leadership.  \nAdaptations Needed: This tool provides a structure for developing a CBA contract or agreement but has been designed such that a DAS provider can completely adapt the entire agreement.
