In a growing church, it is necessary that we have excellent communication to facilitate the life of the body and keep ministry moving forward effectively. We’re looking for someone to fill that space in keeping everyone informed and excited about everything that’s happening in the church.  \nJOB SUMMARY  \nThe Communications Director’s primary responsibility is to provide clear, concise, communication about events, ways the Lord is working in and through the church, and various other needs that arise at Mountain View. In addition to overseeing and executing digital and print communications for the church, this role has to be able to discern how our body receives information and come up with ways to keep them engaged. This role will work with the leadership team to develop and then manage a strategic plan for well-crafted, proactive, and cohesive communications. The ideal candidate should have a desire to help capture and shape the voice of MVCC and consider the impact of our communications on people from different demographic groups. This director must be comfortable collaborating with ministry leaders, be competent in web, social media, email, and print applications, and be able to thoughtfully consider the experiences of a diverse church all while having an aesthetic eye.
