This Agreement establishes the labor relations Policies and Procedures for the City and for the craft employees represented by the Unions engaged in the City’s Improvement Projects as more fully described below. The City, Council and Unions are hereinafter referred to herein, as the context may require, as “Party” or “Parties.”  \nIt is understood by the Parties to this Agreement that if this Agreement is acceptable to the City, it will become the policy of the City for the Project Work to be contracted exclusively to Contractors who agree to execute and be bound by the terms of this Agreement, directly or through the Letter of Assent (a form of which is attached as “Attachment A”), and to require each of its subcontractors, of whatever tier, to become bound.
