its second Hello2Hired recruitment event, held on Monday, 24 August 2026 atthe Grand Cayman Marriott.  \nDesigned to create direct connections between Caymanian jobseekers and local  \nemployers, the event gave attendees the opportunity to explore vacancies, speak directly with hiring teams and access practical career support in one setting. Bush will assume the role on 14 Sept.“The appointment marks a new chapter for an organisation that has spent six decades serving the Cayman Islands and reflects Dart’s continued commitment to Compass Media’s long-term role in the life of the country,” Compass Media added.  \nIt said, “Bush, a Caymanian executive and entrepreneur, brings more than two decades of leadership experience across a range of industries, in both the public and private sectors. She is the founder of AtWater Consulting and has extensive experience guiding organisations through strategic change, communications and transformation initiatives.”  \nBefore taking up her new role as publisher at Compass Media, Pilar Bush was the Chief of Staff in the Office of the Premier.  \nThe Caymanian Times welcomes Pilar Bush to Cayman’s media fraternity.  \nNominations Open for 2027 National Recognition Awards  \nNominations are now open for the 2027 National Recognition Awards, and members of the public are invited to put forward individuals and organisations that helped build and strengthen the Cayman Islands’ financial services industry. Nominations close Sunday, 4 October 2026.  \nFinancial Services is the theme for the 2027 awards, which will recognise contributions to the development of the Cayman Islands as a leading international financial centre and the lasting impact the industry has had on the country’s economy and national development.  \nNominations are being accepted across three categories:  \nFounders of the Industry (“Early Pioneers”)  \nInnovators of the Industry (“Pioneers”) Builders of the Industry (Group Award)  \nMinister for Youth, Sports, Culture and Heritage, Honourable Isaac Rankine, said the categories provide an opportunity to recognise the people and organisations whose contributions have helped shape the Cayman Islands of today.  \n“Cayman’s position as a leading international financial centre did not happen by chance.
