Effective January 1, 2014, Catamaran will replace Express Scripts, Inc.(formerly Medco) as the Pharmacy Benefits Manager for HealthFlex (through the General Board of Pension and Health Benefits) . This change does not impact the HealthFlex prescription drug benefit plan your plan sponsor elected for 2014; only the company that administers the prescription drug benefit. \nWe look forward to serving you and supporting your prescription needs. Below, and enclosed in this packet, is some important information about the transition to Catamaran, and some of the ways we will help make getting your medication simple and cost-effective. \nNew Medical Identification (ID) Cards \nYou will be receiving a new medical ID card directly from your medical carrier (either Blue Cross Blue Shield or United HealthCare, depending on which one is your current carrier), no later than January 1, updated with Catamaran contact information. Use this card when picking up a prescription after January 1, 2014. \nHome Delivery (Mail Order) Program \nSave money and time by getting certain medicine through the mail. The home delivery program brings your long-term or maintenance medications to your door (e.g. those medications used to treat high blood pressure, high cholesterol, etc.) . Your home delivery program enrollment form for new home delivery prescriptions is enclosed. \nIf you were on a mail order prescription drug through Express Scripts, you should have already received a separate communication from us indicating whether your prescription automatically transferred, including the following key points: \n􀁸 Even if your prescription automatically transfers, you will still need to register at [myCatamaranRx.com](myCatamaranRx.com), as your first refill with Catamaran will be not mailed automatically (see myCatamaranRx Website section below for login instructions) . Upon registering, you can also update your payment information if you want it on file with Catamaran, as this information would not be automatically transferred from Express Scripts. \n􀁸 Additionally, it is important to note that on an ongoing basis, Catamaran Home Delivery does not currently have a process to automatically contact your physician to request a new prescription when there are no more refills. You will need to ask your physician to write a new prescription when no refills remain. \nPrior Authorization Program \nA Prior Authorization Program promotes the safe and effective use of select prescription drugs. Your prescription drug benefit plan appropriately sets limits that certain prescriptions, or certain quantities of a prescription, cannot be prescribed unless an exception or authorization is received from your physician; otherwise known as receiving a prior authorization. It is important to note that all prior authorizations will automatically transfer from Express Scripts to Catamaran. Catamaran will communicate appropriately when a new prior authorization will be needed. \nSpecialty Drug Management Program \nYour plan also includes specialty pharmacy care, through BriovaRx, Catamaran’s specialty pharmacy. BriovaRx provides personal care and support along with the medication and supplies needed to treat your complex conditions. Examples of these conditions are multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis, cancer and others. \nIf you previously received specialty medications through Accredo (Express Scripts specialty pharmacy), you should already have received a separate communication directly from BriovaRx. \n[myCatamaranRx.com](myCatamaranRx.com) \n[Access myCatamaranRx.com](Access myCatamaranRx.com), which includes a Prescription Drug Cost Estimator and Retail Pharmacy Lookup tool, for all your prescription drug information, including to: \n􀁸 Manage your home delivery prescriptions \n􀁸 Compare prices of “alternative” prescription drugs and find your lowest copay \n􀁸 Locate a local network pharmacy and get driving directions ","cbCaiuNHHhnuKQMH","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaiuNHHhnuKQMH","pdf",379045,"English","# New Medical Identification (ID) Cards\n## Home Delivery (Mail Order) Program\n## Prior Authorization Program\n## Specialty Drug Management Program\n# Anytime Help\n# Other Helpful Information","[{\"question\":\"When does Catamaran replace Express Scripts for the HealthFlex pharmacy benefit administration?\",\"answer\":\"Catamaran replaces Express Scripts effective January 1, 2014.
