This is a simplified version of his model.  To help you complete your own flower, there is some guidance below with links to quizzes and some worksheets to help you work through your thoughts. You can print this off and write on it or type directly into the document. You can complete the petals in any order.\n1. Knowledge/Skills\nList the knowledge or skills you already have that you have gained at University, in a part time job or during a placement? Which of these knowledge or skills would you like to use at work?  Be aware that you will have knowledge and skills that you aren’t particularly keen on using in the workplace and it’s also important to capture these.  E.g. I can lead a team (a skill) but I don’t enjoy it and wouldn’t want this to be a consideration in a future job. If you’re unsure of your skills you can use the exercise listed in the worksheets to help you.\n2. People\nWhat type of people would you like to work with? For example, young, old, diverse, animal lovers. Also think about the people you would like to serve in your work (see worksheets below for guidance)\n3. Use the results to identify which traits you possess and want to use and add these to the ‘Traits’ petal.\n4. Working conditions\nThink about the conditions of the actual job would you want.  Examples are; working outdoors or indoors, alone or in a team, behind a desk or moving around, or working outside. Also think about working hours. Do you want to work full time, weekends or shift work?  Do you want to work at home or hybrid between home and workplace?\n5. Salary/Level\nIs there a certain salary range you would like as a minimum or level of position you would like?  Think about your financial commitments, and also what is realistic.\n6. Location\nWhere would you like to work? This could be a certain city or region or a characteristic such as ‘near the sea’ or ‘a small town’ etc.\n7.
