First of all we want to type in social media across the top of the page to find our preferred shape of design. \nOnce we click on this we will have an option of 1000’s of templates to choose from. Ignore the content in these social media posts, we will be changing them. Focus on finding a design you like and imagine how it will look with your imagery, branding and copy. \nHere is an example of the templates we have as an option: \nStep 2 : Finding templates \nIf you don't see any templates that suit your need on the first page you can open up a blank design and search templates by keyword. For example, we want this social post to be a quote from one of our volunteers, \nSo if I search the term 'quote', it will show all of the templates designed to feature a quote. I found the template below which already has a similar colour scheme to our organisation and will be suitable for our needs. \nNow we have our chosen design, we can replace the copy and imagery with our own. It is important to also change the font and colour schemes to match our organisations. \nBelow you can see the transition between the template and our final post: \nStep 3 : Sharing your post \nWe now have our post. You can try and add more detail, copy and illustrations, but I believe its more important to keep post clean and easy to read. To share this post we head to the top right hand corner and click ‘Share’ \nFrom here you can either download the image to use on something like‘Later’ that manages all of your social media accounts. Or we can connect our FB, Instagram, LinkedIn and other accounts to Canva to post or schedule straight away. \nOptions for sharing \nOptions for Downloading \nFor more information regarding Canva, please look at our other Canva training videos.","cbCaipzp1wLQ793E","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaipzp1wLQ793E","pdf",2284352,"English","# Step 1: Finding templates\n## Select templates for a social post\n# Step 2: Customize your chosen design\n## Replace copy and imagery\n## Update fonts and color schemes\n# Step 3: Sharing your post\n## Download or connect accounts","[{\"question\":\"How do I find templates in Canva for a social media post?\",\"answer\":\"Start by typing the relevant social media type at the top to filter shapes of design, then choose from the template options.
