It launches with 61,000 equivalent album units earned in the United States in the week ending Sept. 24, according to Luminate. In total, it’s her sixth leader and 16th top 10-charted set. Miley (aka Miley Cyrus) last stopped the tally with Bangerz in 2013.  \nBass Persuades was announced Sept. 1 and dropped on Sept. 18. Its title track and first single was unveiled on Sept. 3. It debuted at No. 35 on the Billboard Hot 100 (dated Sept. 19), marking her 24th top 40 hit. The new set comes a little more than a year after her last studio project, Something Beautiful, which debuted and peaked at No. 4 on the June 14, 2025-dated Billboard 200.  \nAlso in the top 10 of the latest Billboard 200, Riley Green and beabadoobee score their first top 10s as their newest projects debut.  \nThe Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week in the U. S. based on multi-metric consumption as measured in equivalent album units,  \ncompiled by Luminate. Units comprise album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA) and streaming equivalent albums (SEA) . Each unit equals one album sale, or 10 individual tracks sold from an album, or 2,500 ad-supported or 1,000 paid/subscription on-demand official audio and video streams generated by songs from an album.
