Both funding types are part of the financial aid package and are determined by the Office of Financial Aid. The BSE will help students identify open positions and complete the process for a student employment position. Both FWS and BEEP are awarded for the academic year with the award beginning July 1, 2017~~4~~ and ending June 30, 2018~~5~~. \nThe student employment program is designed to assist students with the financial expenses associated with a college education, while giving the students an opportunity to gain resume-building experience to help them in their future careers. Regulations governing the FWS program require earnings to be applied toward the cost of a student’s education which includes the costs of tuition, room, board, books and lab fees. Campus employment is also designed to support College departments and to provide an educated and skilled student work force. \nThe Bethany College Student Employment program is subject to and will be administered in accordance with Federal, State and Local regulations, laws and standards governing employment and financial aid practices. \nIt is the responsibility of the student employee and student employment supervisor to become familiar with and abide by the policies established for student employment. \nIf there are any questions or problems, students and/or employers can contact the Bethany Student Employment Office run through the Business Affairs Department at (304) 829-7835 or send an email [to](to sdague@bethanywv.edu)[ ](to sdague@bethanywv.edu)[sdague@bethanywv.edu](to sdague@bethanywv.edu). \nBethany College reserves the right to revise procedures and/or forms contained within this handbook. \nI.
