is seeking a motivated and collaborative individual to serve in a new academic position, at the rank of Assistant Professor (non-tenure track, with no immediate teaching load), with the responsibility of helping the university understand how to faithfully and effectively deploy artificial intelligence (AI) tools for teaching and learning. The candidate’s field of expertise (at the PhD or other terminal degree level, or MA with commensurate experience) can be in any academic discipline, though we are especially inviting: Writing, Language, and Literature; History; Arts; Humanities; any science or technology related field also considered.  \nAbout the Job:  \nAt George Fox University, we place a high value on excellent teaching—both in person and online. Through George Fox Digital (GFD), our online course offerings serve an increasing number of students across the university. As part of our current expansion, we are introducing a new kind of academic position—one that is rare not only at our university but within higher education more broadly.
