One graduate level scholarship may be awarded if there are an adequate number of applications from qualified individuals.  \nApril is Student month! These scholarships will be awarded at our annual Student Activity night which will have details forthcoming (it will likely be a SLC Bee’s Game on the night of April 4th or April 5th) . We encourage all students to attend this event as it is a great way to meet prospective employers and an excuse to have fun.  \nStudents who have an interest or background in thermodynamics, psychrometrics, fluid mechanics, indoor air quality, energy, building automation or controls, heating, ventilating, refrigeration or air conditioning (HVAC) principles are invited to apply. If you are in your junior or senior year, please submit the following:  \n♦ Cover letter stating how receiving this scholarship will help you in your education which may lead to a career in the building sciences, energy or HVAC areas.  \n♦ Resume of your relevant classes and/or work experience relating to these areas.  \n♦ List of classes in these areas that you have completed or are planning to take. Please submit this application package, signed by your academic advisor (cover letter), to the Utah ASHRAE Student Activities Chair (see contact info below) via e-mail. The deadline for receiving these applications is March 12, 2013.
