First Aid/AED Certification  \nJob Summary:  \nLifeguards must ensure a fun, yet safe swimming environment for all users of the facility. This includes: patron safety, enforcing the rules, accident prevention, keeping the facility clean, and providing excellent customer service to all members, guests, and JCC staff.  \nJob Description  \n􀁸 In an emergency, follow the JCC emergency and incident procedures. Report any incidents, or maintenance problems to the Aquatics Director.  \n􀁸 Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the aquatics facility, which includes picking up litter, toys, and towels around the pool area.  \n􀁸 Perform the required daily maintenance.  \n􀁸 Attend required in-service trainings, and staff meetings.  \n􀁸 Dress in the required uniform while on duty. Shirt and shoes must be worn in the Sports & Fitness Center at all times.  \n􀁸 Be alert at all times. Reading, eating or socializing while on rotation is prohibited.  \n􀁸 Must be on time for all shifts, including rotations. Responsible for all assigned shifts.
