Select the employee’s last name to open the file. Then, select “Assignments” under the “Employment” taband click “Edit Time & Labor Information”.  \nSettings  \n1.  Enable Time & Labor: This checkbox dictates whether this employee is active in Time & Labor. If unchecked, the employee will not show up in Time & Labor for managers.  \n2.  Time & Labor Badge Number: This is the employee’s badge number to be used if punching in and out on a Kiosk. This should be the employee’s Employee ID Number.  \n3.  Payroll Policy: This dictates the rules that apply to the employee including overtime, holiday pay, and many others. See options below:  \na. Hourly Full Time  \nb. Hourly Part Time  \nc. Salary Exempt  \nd. Salary Non-Exempt – Holiday  \ne. Salary Non-Exempt – No Holiday  \n4.  Holiday List: This controls what dates are seen as holidays for this employee, you may only have a single option here.“-Select-“ will assign no holidays to this individual so no dates will be seen as a holiday.  \n5.  Benefit Code / Accrual Code: This controls what time off types the employee has access to, you may only have a single option here.  \n6.  Override Default Supervisor Email: You can use this to enter an email address for time off requests to go to instead of the employee’s assigned supervisor. Do not fill this in unless needing to override this to someone else.  \n7. Job: You can assign ajob code for time tracking. This may be left unmapped if not needed. You may not have options here.  \n8.  Mobile Policy: This controls whether an employee can punch in and out from the mobile app as  \nwell as what requirements there are if they can punch this way.“-Select-” will not allow an employee to clock in and out on the mobile app.  \n9.  Employee Time Zone: This dictates the time zone the employee’s time shows in.  \n10. Allow Clock In / Clock Out through web: This checkbox allows an employee to clock in and out from a computer either via their Self-Service Portal or Time & Labor Dashboard.  \n11. Time Sheet Approval and Attendance Tracking: This section is only used for employees entering time sheets to track time (either worked or unit pay) . If setting up an hourly employee who is only clocking in and out when working, leave this section blank.  \na. Allow Employee to submit time sheet for… : Enable this to use the other items in this section  \nb. Worked Hours: If the employee should be able to enter time physically worked (i.e. I worked 8 hours on Monday) onto their timecard, enable this option.  \nc.  Non-Worked Hours: If the employee is a unit pay employee, enable this option.  \nd.  Default Non-Worked Hours to Paid: If the employee is a unit pay employee, enable this option.  \ne.  Track Attendance Only: Do not use this option for anyone.  \n12. Feature Access Template: This controls the type of access this employee has within Time & Labor  \na.  User Access Only: Anyone who is a regular employee should have this. This gives them access to their own personal information and no one else.  \nb.  Manager/Supervisor: This will be used for anyone who is a supervisor of others.  \nc. Administrator: This is only used for people who should have access to everything and everyone in the Time & Labor module.  \n13. Permission to Manager Groups: This option is only used for those with “Manager/Supervisor”Feature Access Templates. Select the employee group (usually this supervising employee’s name) that they should have access to in Time & Labor.  \n14. IP Access Policy: If the employee is able to punch from the web (item 10), this controls what IP addresses they can clock in and out from.
