Background/context for required services/results  \nFollowing over two years of intensified hostilities, the ceasefire declared in Gaza on 10 October 2025 has left a profound humanitarian, protection, and recovery crisis. Women and girls have borne a disproportionate share of the impact. More than 38,000 women and girls have been killed since October 2023, with thousands more sustaining injuries, many resulting in lifelong disabilities2.
