In the 15 years following this enactment, other jurisdictions enacted their own statutes of the SLLC entity in some capacity but there is obvious reticence of broad enactment until uncertainty is quelled. Without a “federal blessing” by a federal court or federal agency on a SLLC statute, the uncertainty will not disappear. One potential application is for family operated agribusiness firms.
