With more tools developed, companies have adopted tools that help them recruit talents more efficiently. This paper proposes a resume parser called pyresparser, which is a python package that is used to extract the relevant information from resumes and analyze it based on the different attributes. Once the resume is uploaded it is saved into a PostgreSQL database ready to show itself to the employers. With the identification of the attributes, the proposed system is directed to adopt a word similarity algorithm for PostgreSQL trigram module to match the skills of the job seekers against the requirements of the job posted by the prospect employers. The system helps the human resource team to find suitable candidates for a particular job and make more informed final decisions or use it as a shortlisting means for ultimate interview sessions.\nKeywords-Job Matching, Resume Parser, word similarity, Job Seeker Document, Job Requirement.\nI. Introduction\nAny internet communication contact occurs through the sharing of such data. Due to the increased usage of the internet, data is now increasing at a tremendous speed which also makes data handling a problem. One of the key challenges in processing such a vast amount of data is the increase in volume in comparison with the development of computing power.\nPeople around the world consider the internet as an effective means of communication and rate the internet as an essential medium of recruiting. Examples of internet services provided are vacancy announcements, job postings, interviewing, filling online application forms and communicating with recruitment agencies [1].\nJob Matching is one of socially crucial problems in all over the world. In job matching, job seekers and recruiters have requirements for the others, apply to and lookout them, and proceed further matching actions according to the preference order of their candidates. This problem of overload of information can be solve by using Job Matching systems [2].\nThe accuracy of the job matching system increase with the quantity and the quality of information provided by users. According to [3], content-based filtering is using the technique to analyze a set of documents and descriptions of items previously rated by a user, and then build a profile or model of the users interests based on the features of those rated items. Using the profile, the recommender system can filter out the suggestions that would fit for the user.\nAccording to [4], allocation theory is optimal when workers are employed to top-down jobs in direct relation to their competencies, i.e. the most skilled worker perform a job with complex requirements, and the less competent worker occupies the simplest job. The importance of human capital accumulation for economic growth is certain, but the focus of specialists is now focused on providing evidence of the importance of efficient and appropriate matching of human resources to jobs.\nJob Matching is a method of adjusting exactly how an employer data and a job seeker are correctly matching altogether, the job matching procedure, in general, observes the information presented in the resume and match against the requirement registered in the list of open vacancies.
