I have split it into four sections: the first three sections work on different phases of alphabet learning. \nLetter Recognition is where all children start. In this part of the book I have included simple crafts with a wide variety of techniques to introduce letters to your child, including painting, button art, magic dissolving rocks and digging in Jello! \nLetter Formation crafts help children learn how to start writing the alphabet. This is where your child will benefit from their fine \nmotor skills practice - as holding a pen or pencil and learning to accurately form letters is very tricky! By providing a variety of ways in which to practice, your child will be much more inclined to work on letter formation. I’ve included ideas that use play dough, sand, stickers, Lego and even toy vehicles! \nIn the final learning section, I feature word recognition and formation. In most traditional learning schemes this focuses on sight \nwords, both learning to recognize them and to write them. This is clearly the gateway to being able to read, and isone of the most exciting stages! This section features learning crafts that use clothespins, play dough, tracing paper, chalkboard and even gravel! \nDo you remember that I mentioned four sections? Well the last one is where you can get really creative - and silly! A craft for each letter of the alphabet that focuses on that letter. I have provided several alternatives for each letter AND you can download the free printable that is exclusive to readers of this book! Work through the letters in order, or just pick them out at random, whichever you prefer! \nI hope you and your kids really enjoy the crafts in this book! \nGB \nLetter Recognition \nCrafts \nAlphabet Placemat \nMaterials: \n􀁸 Letter stickers and/or letters cut from magazines and packaging \n􀁸 Construction paper or card \n􀁸 Glue \n􀁸 Clear contact paper orlaminator \nSort all the letters to make sure you have one of each letter of the alphabet. Stick them to the construction paper. \nCut two pieces of clear contact paper, slightly larger than the construction paper. Peel off the backing and add the placemat to the center of the contact paper. Peel off the backing from the second piece, and place it over the top of the placemat, sticky sides together. Trim around the edges if necessary. \nAlternatively, run it through a laminator! Either way, you’ll get a nice wipe-clean placemat. \nHow about lowercase letters on one side and upper case on there","cbCaicegGd6gULvm","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaicegGd6gULvm","pdf",3136027,68,"English","# Contents\n## Introduction\n## Letter Recognition\n## Letter Formation\n## Word Formation\n## A-Z Crafts\n## Index","[{\"question\":\"How is the ebook organized for alphabet learning?\",\"answer\":\"It is split into four sections: letter recognition, letter formation, word formation, and A-Z crafts where each letter has its own craft options.\"},{\"question\":\"What skills do the letter formation crafts target?\",\"answer\":\"They help children learn how to start writing the alphabet and build fine motor skills needed to hold a pencil or pen and accurately form letters.\"},{\"question\":\"Are these crafts safe for children to do without help?\",\"answer\":\"Adult supervision is recommended for every project, and instructions should be read thoroughly before deciding whether an activity is appropriate for your child.\"}]","50 Alphabet Crafts for Little Kids - read online free | PDF",24]
