Students receive an outstanding foundation in nursing including intensive classroom instruction and supervised clinical experiences in local health agencies. \nPN program is a year-long program, during daytime hours, with students attending classes approximately 35 hours per week. The actual schedule of clinical experiences may vary per the assignments at cooperating healthcare facilities and may include evening hours. The Practical Nursing Program is offered at the Treasure Coast Technical College main campus. \nAbout the Faculty \nThe instructors are qualified and meet the Florida Board of Nursing and Florida Department of Education requirements for teaching in a program for practical nursing students. The instructors believe that each student has the potential to learn, and they strive to accommodate individual differences and learning styles while recognizing that success will be highly dependent upon individual motivation and commitment.
