In general, teachers only provide teaching materials that are monotonous, readily available and easy to use, and don’t bother making them. Under these conditions, students will feel bored participating in learning so that learning becomes ineffective. The fact is that teachers lack creativity to plan, prepare and make teaching materials that are rich in innovation so that they are attractive to students. This is a problem in learning at school, of course. From these problems the author formulated the purpose of this paper, namely to describe activity sheets and student work portfolios, explain the techniques of activity sheets and student work portfolios and how to design activity sheets and student work portfolios. The type of research used is library research with a qualitative descriptive approach. Research based on various data or various materials derived from books and journals. The data source in this research is a secondary data source. Sources of data were taken from written and published literature, especially those related to learning planning at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. Data analysis in this literature review is content analysis, namely an in-depth discussion of the content of information, both written and printed. Data in library research is in the form of research results such as scientific books and scientific journals. Data analysis techniques in research include three stages, namely organize, synthesize, and identify. First, the organize stage, namely organizing the literature used. The literature that will be used is reviewed first so that it is relevant to the problem. The writer looks for ideas, goals, and conclusions from several literatures starting from reading the abstract, introduction, methods, and discussion. Second, the synthesize stage, namely bringing together the results of the organization of literature into a summary so that it becomes a unified and complete whole by looking for relationships between literature. Third, identify, namely identifying controversial issues in the literature. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that student activity sheets (LAS) are in the form of task sheets that students must work on in the form of instructions for completing assignments. While the portfolio as student work that shows their efforts, development and skills in one field or more. This collection should include student participation in content selection, selection criteria, assessment criteria and evidence of self-reflection.
