Prosespembuatan kaos T-shirt melibatkan beberapa tahapan seperti pemilihan desain, bahan baku, jenis seam, dan jenis stitch yang digunakan. Kualitas dan daya tahan kaos T-shirt sangat dipengaruhi oleh pemilihanjenis seam yang tepat, karena kesalahan dalam pemilihan seam dapat menyebabkan jahitan mudah lepas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis proses pembuatan kaos T-shirt serta mengidentifikasi jenis seam dan stitch yangumum digunakan dalam produksinya. Analisis dilakukan terhadap produk kaos T-shirt produksi Inkubis AKTekstil Solo. Metode penelitian meliputi pembuatan desain sketsa kaos T-shirt, identifikasi komponen kaos T-shirt, pembuatan peta proses produksi, serta identifikasi kelas seam dan stitch yang digunakan. Hasil analisis dan identifikasi menunjukkan terdapat tiga jenis seam yang digunakan, yaitu superimposedseam, lapped seam, dan edge neatening, serta tiga jenis stitch, yaitu lockstitch, multithread chainstitch, dan overedge chainstitch. Mesin yang digunakan dalam proses ini meliputi mesin single needle lockstitch, mesin overdeck, dan mesin overlock. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi bagi produsen dalam memilih jenis seam dan mesin jahit yang tepat untuk menghasilkan produk berkualitas.\u003Cbr>Kata Kunci: daya tahan, kaos T-shirt, kualitas, seam, stitch.\u003Cbr>ABSTRACT\u003Cbr>T-shirts are one of the most commonly worn outer garments in everyday life. The production process of Tshirts involves several stages, including the selection of designs, raw materials, types of seams, and types of stitches used. The quality and durability of a T-shirt are greatly influenced by the proper selection of seam types, as mistakes in seam selection can lead to easily unraveling stitches. This study aims to analyze the Tshirt manufacturing process and identify the types of seams and stitches commonly used in its production. The analysis was conducted on T-shirt products manufactured by Inkubis AK-Tekstil Solo. The research methods included designing T-shirt sketches, identifying T-shirt components, creating a production process map, and identifying the classes of seams and stitches used. The analysis and identification results show that there are three types of seams used: superimposed seam, lapped seam, and edge neatening, as well as three types of stitches: lockstitch, multithread chainstitch, and overedge chainstitch. The machines used in this process include single needle lockstitch machines, overdeck machines, and overlock machines.
