The story follows Pangeran, who desperately needs to find more leaves to make a large purchase, as his current leaves are too old. His guards suggest searching the forest, where they encounter a tiger, referred to as 'inyak,' the ruler of the forest. The guards flee in panic, leaving Pangeran alone and lost deeper in the woods. He repeatedly encounters the tiger, but notices this tiger behaves differently, not seeming aggressive. Pangeran wonders if the tiger is trying to show him the way, but he still doesn't understand. The narrative explores themes of courage, fear, and perhaps unexpected guidance in a perilous situation. The illustration style features a stylized, whimsical depiction of the characters and setting, with a focus on the interaction between Pangeran, his guards, and the enigmatic tiger within a lush forest environment. The cultural context appears to be Indonesian, suggested by the names and some of the dialogue.
