Researchers are interested in studying the UTPAS logo because they want to know the meaning of the UTPAS logo and at the same time be able to become a medium of information for the public regarding UTPAS. This research uses qualitative methods, and is analyzed using Charles Sanders Pierce's semiotic approach. Based on the results of the analysis, the UTPAS logo is interpreted based on type and representation, namely depicting a Higher Education Institution which has the aim of being a guide to life for every person within its scope through knowledge, tolerance and the inclusion of God Almighty. This is represented by objects in the shape of a book, a lighthouse and fire which give the impression of light. Apart from that, the logo design also explains the history of the birth of the name UTPADAKA SWASTIKA which is represented by thirty rice objects and six cotton objects which are interpreted as the date and month of the birth of the name UTPAS. Furthermore, based on the relationship between the sign and the object, the UTPAS logo uses a representation of the object that has been generally agreed upon, so that every viewer who sees the visual representation of the object in the logo issues a statement (Sinsign) with a meaning that has been agreed upon legally according to the viewer's experience, and there is a combination of purple which symbolizes creativity. and wisdom and the color yellow symbolize optimism and happiness. The bottom position of the UTPAS logo is a line that forms a ribbon and text that reads \"Utpadaka Swastika University\" which symbolizes the final result and foundation of the previous process, namely achieving vision and prosperity while maintaining unity and brotherhood. Overall, the UTPAS logo meets the rules for creating a graphic design, one of these rules can be seen, namely the suitability of the logo's meaning to the entity.  \nA B S T R A K  \nLogo UTPAS (Universitas Utpadaka Swastika) menghadirkan beberapa bentukatau objek, seperti kelopak bunga, tumbuhan padi, kapas, mercusuar, pita sertadi dominasi dengan warna kuning dan ungu yang tentunya mewakili identitas UTPAS. Peneliti tertarik mengkaji logo UTPAS karena ingin mengetahui makna yang terdapat pada logo UTPAS dan sekaligus mampu menjadi media informasi bagi masyarakat terhadap UTPAS. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif, serta dianalisis dengan menggunakan pendekatan semiotika Charlesh Sanders Pierce.
