Kesimpulannya, algoritma KNN terbukti efektif dalam memprediksi hasil pertandingan catur serta mampu mengidentifikasi pola permainan yang relevan, terutama setelah dilakukan optimasi parameter dan pengolahan data yang tepat. The methods used include data collection from the kaggle website, data pre-processing, application of the KNN model, and performance evaluation using accuracy, precision, recall, and f1-score metrics. Initial results showed an accuracy of 54.83%, which increased to 63.97% after hyperparameter tuning and crossvalidation.
