Les résultats suggèrent que quatre objectifs de transformation sociale imprègnent et façonnent cette innovation sociale: objectifs socio-économiques, socio-techniques, socio-territoriaux et socio-politiques.\nShort Abstract\nThe concept of social innovation refers to the process of introducing, into a given host community, practices directly aimed at enabling a group in a disadvantaged position to take charge of one or more social needs that have not yet been satisfactorily met. Social innovation shakes up the institutions that give meaning to practices, ensure socialization, and shape identity. With this article, our goal is to study the relationship between a specific social innovation and socially transformative aims. We study this relationship through the case of the Accorderie de Québec, a multi-stakeholder co-operative that combines a microcredit system, a buying group, and an alternative trading system that uses time, rather than money, as the basis of exchange between its members. Our findings suggest that four socially transformative aims permeate and shape this social innovation: socio-economic, socio-technical, socio-territorial and socio-political aims.\nKeywords:\tSocial innovation; social transformation; socially transformative aims; local exchange trading systems (LETS); microcredit; buying group.\nLong Abstract\nIn this article, we study how socially transformative aims permeate and shape social innovation. Social innovation can be defined as “a complex process of introducing new products, processes, or programs that profoundly change the basic routines, resource and authority flows, or beliefs of the social system in which the innovation occurs” (Westley & Antadze, 2010: 2). According to Whyte (1982: 1), social innovation consists of one or more of the following aspects: “(a) a new element in organizational structure or interorganizational relations, (b) a new sets of procedures for shaping human interactions and activities and the relations of human to the natural and social environment, (c) a new policy in action (that is, not just on paper), or (d) a new role or a new set of roles.” This something “new” does not have to be recent or unprecedented: it might just be a matter of brushing the dust off an old practice and updating it. Social innovation is a particularly complex phenomenon in which both psychological characteristics and institutional features come into play (Chambon, David, & Devevey, 1982). To understand it often requires “bringing to light the social, technical, economic, political and cultural particularities brought to the foreground by individual and collective actors” (Fontan, Klein & Tremblay, 2004: 125).\nWe address the nature of socially transformative aims by analyzing a social innovation from the","cbCaicLVTpnnjgdB","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaicLVTpnnjgdB","docx",106852,19,"French","# Résumé court\n## Concept d’innovation sociale\n## Étude de cas: L’Accorderie de Québec\n## Objectifs de transformation sociale","[{\"question\":\"Quelle relation le texte examine-t-il entre innovation sociale et transformation sociale ?\",\"answer\":\"Il examine comment des objectifs de transformation sociale imprègnent et façonnent une innovation sociale spécifique, à travers le cas de L’Accorderie de Québec.\"},{\"question\":\"Comment L’Accorderie de Québec organise-t-elle ses activités ?\",\"answer\":\"La coopérative gère démocratiquement trois services: un programme de microcrédit, un groupe d’achat et un vaste réseau d’échanges de services reposant sur le temps plutôt que l’argent.\"},{\"question\":\"Quels sont les quatre objectifs de transformation sociale identifiés ?\",\"answer\":\"Le texte distingue des objectifs socio-économiques, socio-techniques, socio-territoriaux et socio-politiques qui structurent l’innovation sociale.\"}]","Resumes Atelier 4 - complet | DOCX",7]
