powers to promote and ensure the health and safety of members of your work group.  \nBy completing the Health & Safety Representative 1-day refresher program, HSRs will retain the powers to direct that unsafe work cease and issue provisional improvement notices if required.  \nIt provides participants with the skills and knowledge to fulfil the Health & Safety Representative (HSR) role set down in Section 72 of the Workplace Health & Safety Act 2011.  \n• Interpreting the work health and safety (WHS) legislative framework  \n• Legislative obligations and duties of key parties  \n• Evolution of WHS in the workplace  \n• Terminology under the WHS framework and key concepts  \n• Role and function of state or territory regulators  \n• WHS consultation, representation and participation in the workplace  \n• Rights and protections of an elected HSR or deputy HSR  \n• Health and Safety Committee (HSC)  \n• Issue resolution, requirements and monitoring  \n• Identification and assessment of
