She also took one of the Weekly Lessons to write.  \nSheryl Watson was a wealth of information. Sheryl not only did some editing and wrote one of the Weekly Lessons,but she collected many books for our “Suggested Literature” section atthe end of each chapter. You can feel the en -ergy coming from her activities!  \nAngie Eberspacher took one Weekly Lesson to write. She did such a great job that I begged her todo a few more. Igave her what I thought were the very worst letters (What can you do with“x,”“y,” and“z” – there are so few words!)and she did miracles with them!  \nKerri Hamer was my resident math expert. She has worked on committees with the State Standards formath, and is anexpert in teaching mathematics. She looked over many of my math lessons, made suggestions and approved them. Shealso collaborated with me on the Zoo-rhymes. Ithasmadesuch a wonderful addition to our Program.  \nDr. Cecelia Souza, Professor and Speech Pathologist atthe University of the Pacific in California, suggested the format forthese lesson plans. She has loved and used Zoo-phonics for years in her clinic for special education and Head Start children.She has wanted a curriculum that is not only language intensive, but that covers all other subjects as well.
