What should I do?  \nSpeak to your school, college or training provider.  \nThey’ll look into this for you.  \nHow are exams and coursework marked?  \nAround 7,700 experienced teachers and lecturers mark the exams and coursework. They use their knowledge of course requirements and national standards to workout your final mark.  \nWe carry out many checks across all courses and levels to make sure the marking is accurate and consistent. This is known as ‘quality assurance’.  \nCan I see my marked exam papers?  \nSorry, no. We don’t currently offer this service.  \nHow many marks do I need for each grade?  \nThe minimum marks needed for each grade (A to D) aren’t fixed.  \nIf an exam was easier or harder than planned, we adjust the minimum marks needed to make sure grades are fair from year to year.
