It describes how Orion spacecraft will travel to the Moon, launched by the Space Launch System (SLS), and highlights that the first mission tests safety without astronauts while later missions send crews to walk on the lunar surface. The story emphasizes teamwork across NASA and partners worldwide, the years of astronaut training, and the global hopes that travel with them.","You are Going: A Story about Artemis \nWhen you look up at the night sky, what do you see? \nOn a clear night, you can see thousands of stars. You might even see some faraway planets. The object that’s most likely to catch your eye is our neighbor, the Moon. \nRight now, the Moon seems pretty empty. But soon, NASA’s Artemis astronauts will land on the Moon for the first time since the Apollo missions over 50 years ago. \n1 \nGoing to the Moon takes the talents of many people working together. People at NASA work with partners all across the United States, and even other countries. \nArtemis is all about teamwork! \n2 \nAstronauts will ride inside the Orion spacecraft on their trips to the Moon. \nYou might be wondering how Orion gets into space... \n3 \nThe Space Launch System is the rocket that will launch Orion into space. You can call it SLS for short. SLS is the most powerful rocket in the world! \nIt is taller than the Statue of Liberty. \nIts thrust, or force, is as powerful as 160,000 racecar engines! \n4 \nOur first Artemis mission will send Orion into space without astronauts to make sure everything is safe. \nLater Artemis missions will take astronauts to the Moon’s surface. These astronauts will get to walk on the Moon! \n5 \nAs our astronauts travel to the Moon, we will be here to cheer them on from the ground. \nWhen Orion is launched to space, the powerful SLS rocket will help the spacecraft reach a speed of about 25,000 miles per hour. That’s 50 times faster than an airplane! \nSLS will zoom past the highest clouds. \n6 \nAstronauts train for many years to prepare for this moment. They work hard for the chance to be a space explorer. \nAstronauts must learn about many things, like meteorology (the science of weather) and engineering (the science of machines) . They also learn how to fly a spacecraft! \nIt’s not an easy job, but it’s worth it to learn about our universe. \n7 \nArtemis astronauts will not go to the Moon alone. \nWhen they fly, they take the whole world’s hopes and \ndreams for the future of space exploration with them. \nWe are going together! \n8 \nWith Artemis, the first woman and first person of color will step on the Moon. The whole world will be watching and ready to celebrate! \n9","cbCaicv8VhqXD4p0","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaicv8VhqXD4p0","pdf",13043819,23,"English","en",105,"# Mission and teamwork\n## Orion spacecraft and NASA partners\n# Launch and mission phases\n## SLS rocket speed and test flight\n## Future landings and walking on the Moon\n# Astronaut preparation and global impact\n## Training for space exploration\n## Shared hopes and milestones","[{\"question\":\"What is Artemis, and why does it matter?\",\"answer\":\"Artemis is a Moon mission centered on teamwork and safe exploration.
