The pack explains why PPE matters for practising exam routines and identifying revision priorities. It outlines Paper 1 and Paper 2 timings, marks breakdown by sections, and question types including multiple-choice, short answer, source-based and extended responses. It also provides targeted strategies: using topical videos and AQA revision books, practising with past papers and mark schemes, creating flashcards and quizzes, and following a structured revision timetable with self-testing and feedback through classroom submissions.","Sidmouth Drive, Ruislip, Middlesex, HA4 0BY \nT: 01895 464064 \nE: offi[ce@ruisliphigh.org.uk](ce@ruisliphigh.org.uk)[ ](ce@ruisliphigh.org.uk)[www.ruisliphigh.com](www.ruisliphigh.com) \nHeadteacher: Gareth Davies BSc (Econ), MA \n5th November 2025 \nDear Parents/Guardians \nRe: Citizenship GCSE PPE December \nStudents in Year 10 are preparing for their pre-public examinations (PPE) for citizenship GCSE. These exams are important not only for students to practise the routines for their public examination in citizenship this summer but also to identify areas that require further revision in the coming months. \nPaper 1 and Paper 2 will take place on the 3rd and 10th of December 2025, respectively. Students will also receive individual timetables. \nBelow is information on revision resources and strategies to help prepare students for the PPE. \nAs an examination centre, Ruislip High School is committed to ensuring that the examination management and administration processes are run effectively, efficiently, and in compliance with the published JCQ regulations and awarding body requirements.
