Staff will be available in school from 8:00am to provide support and guidance. If your child wishes for someone else to collect their results, \nthey must email Mrs Donofrio in advance, naming the person who will attend to [NDonofrio@theferrers.org](NDonofrio@theferrers.org) and bring ID with them for collection. \nBefore and During Exams (6th – 22nd May) \nMasterclasses begin on Wednesday 6th May, and the first written exam takes place on Friday 8th May. During this period, students are expected to attend all timetabled lessons, masterclasses, and pre-exam breakfast sessions. \nIf a student does not have a morning exam, they should attend tutor time as normal. After each exam, students are expected to return promptly to their lessons. Additional Session 6 revision sessions will also be available and are strongly recommended. \nExam Day Arrangements \nTeachers will be available in the Canteen from 8.15am in the morning to support students before their exam. Some helpful revision resources will be provided and a small bite to eat. The canteen will also be open for those wishing to purchase their own breakfast. \nOn exam days, students should arrive by 8:35am for morning exams (starting at 9:00am) and line up \nat 1:15pm for afternoon exams (starting at 1:30pm) . \nPlease note that some exams may finish after 3:00pm. Students who arrive late may only be admitted within 30 minutes of the start time, and this is at the discretion of the Exams Officer. \nAttendance and Expectations \nStudents are required to attend all exams and lessons in full school uniform, including blazer, tie, and appropriate footwear. \nIf a student is unable to attend an exam due to illness, a doctor’s note must be provided. Without valid evidence, the exam board will award zero marks for that paper. \nLeavers’ Assembly \nThe Leavers’ Assembly will take place on Friday 22nd May from 11:20am to 1:00pm. This is a valuable opportunity for students to reflect on and celebrate their time at school. Full school uniform is required, and all students must leave the site by 1:00pm. \nAfter May Half Term \nFollowing the half term break, students are only required to attend school when they have an exam, a preexam breakfast session, or a lesson for a subject in which exams are still to be completed. \nAt other times, students may revise at home or use the school’s study facilities, such as the Learning Resource Centre or Sixth Form Centre (where permitted) . Students attending for independent study must sign in at reception. \nEnd of Exams \nThe final GCSE exam is scheduled for Tuesday 16th June. However, all students must remain available until the contingency day on Wednesday 24th June, in case any exams need to be rescheduled. \nYear 11 Prom \nWe are pleased to invite students to the Year 11 Prom, which will take place on Thursday 18th June at The Stanwick Hotel. The ticket cost and the details will follow separately. \nIf you have any questions regarding exams, please contact Mrs Donofrio (Exams and Data Manager) [at](at NDonofrio@theferrers.org)[ ](at NDonofrio@theferrers.org)[NDonofrio@theferrers.org](at NDonofrio@theferrers.org) . \nYours sincerely, \nMrs M.
