I am writing to share an update on the current state of Title IX.  \nAs most of you are likely aware, the new Title IX Final Rule (2024 Rule) was released by the U.S. Department of Education (DOE) on April 26, 2024, with an effective date of August 1, 2024. Following suit with courts in 9 other states, on 6/17/24, a federal judge granted a temporary injunction to halt enforcement of the 2024 Rule in Ohio. This injunction prohibits the DOE from enforcing the 2024 Rule in Ohio.
