These outcomes should be used by APPs to prepare programmes of learning, and by candidates to plan their studies, because the examination is specifically set to test these outcomes.  \nThe Specification also provides a list of recommended tasting samples, guidance concerning the examination (including weight of the learning outcomes content), sample examination questions and the examination regulations.  \nAt the end of this document you will find information on the other WSET qualifications and WSET’s qualification division, WSET Awards.  \nIntroduction to the WSET Level 2 Award in Wines  \nQualification Aims  \nThe WSET Level 2 Award in Wines is intended for people who have little or no prior knowledge. It is suitable wherever a good level of wine knowledge is required to underpin job skills and competencies, for example in the customer service and sales functions of hospitality, retailing and wholesaling industries.
