The annual summer gala is also an occasion for celebrating cultural and international exchanges.\u003Cbr>The highlight of t he WCS is the World Cosplay Championship. Having won the preliminary qualifying rounds in their regions , representative teams of two cosplayers each from 36 countries and regions will perform on the big stage in front of fans and judges, battling it out to determine this year ’s world champions . Mongolia, the Czech Republic and Costa Rica are joining for the first time this year. The cosplayers are evaluated on their costumes and stage performances.
