During the day, each class will be sharing books and doing lots of book related activities. \nVocabulary Parade \nWe would like the children to select a word then dress according to the word selected. This means that they choose a word to dress up as rather than a character. Below is some example of words the children can choose and costume ideas they can wear: \nLet’s get the children creative by selecting a word then illustrating this through their costume. \nBook Tokens \nThanks to National Book Tokens and lots of lovely book publishers and booksellers, World Book Day, in partnership with schools all over the country, will be distributing more than 15 million £1 World Book Day tokens to children. We will send the token home with your child next week, when you get your book token, all you need to do is to take it to your local bookseller. If you prefer, you can use your book token to get £1.00 off any full price book at the fair. \nBook Fair \nFrom Monday 14th March 2022 until Friday 18th March 2022 we will be holding our annual book fair in school. The children will be able to browse through the book fair during the day and select their book(s) that they like, parents will then be able to decide with their child and make the payment on ParentPay. The more books that are sold the more commission the school gets to buy books for our reading areas. \nWe look forward to seeing the children in their costumes for World Book Day! Yours sincerely \nMiss C Holman \nEnglish Lead/Interim Assistant Head Teacher","cbCaieVoZSeVYhXT","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaieVoZSeVYhXT","pdf",223906,"English","# World Book Day Celebration\n## Vocabulary Parade\n## Book Tokens\n## Book Fair","[{\"question\":\"What is the Vocabulary Parade?\",\"answer\":\"The Vocabulary Parade is a school event where children choose a specific word and dress up to illustrate its meaning, rather than dressing as a traditional character.\"},{\"question\":\"How can students use their £1 World Book Day tokens?\",\"answer\":\"Students can use their tokens at local booksellers or to receive a £1.00 discount on any full-price book at the school's upcoming book fair.\"},{\"question\":\"When will the annual book fair be held?\",\"answer\":\"The book fair will take place in school from Monday, 14th March 2022, until Friday, 18th March 2022.\"}]","World Book Day - School Event Notification | PDF",1790585008]
