In their previous meeting earlier in the year, Wootton Park had lost both games despite them being close encounters. This time, Wootton Park were on their home courts and the results were quite different. The Year 7 team had a close game with only one goal in it for the first three quarters and Abbeyfield leading for the first two. However, some fine defending from Holly and an excellent shooting display from Jahnyah in the final quarter allowed Wootton Park to extend the lead and take an 8-4 victory. The Year 8’s game was not so close, the team putting in an outstanding performance to win 12-0. Notable performances from Bella at goal shooter, Joy at goalkeeper and Tali in the centre court. Well done to all the girls who played! \nAcorns – Childcare Vouchers \nChildcare Vouchers News \nThe Government has announced that the childcare voucher scheme will close to new entrants on 6 April 2018.
