I sometimes look back at stories I wrote as a young features writer for Women’s Health and think,“this sentence would’ve gotten me cancelled if I wasn’t writing in 2012 BC (before  \nCovid)”. The years (and lockdowns) have changed all of us. As editor, I’m more discerning about how I write and edit our stories, to make sure they are not exclusionary or chasing a sensationalism that sometimes offends. It hasn’t been easy.
