When the first railroadengine was invented and ready for trial,&number ofscientific men and others stood by it.  The fire was inthe furnace,the water was hot in the boiler,and every-thing was ready for the engine to move.  Expectationwas written upon every face.But there was one man inthe company who looked iucredulous and with an im-portant air said,\"Take my word for it,gentlemen,  \n# This Thing Will Never Start.”\n\nBut it did start,and it moved gracefully along thetrack that had been prepared for it.Then the sameskeptical gentleman,with a self-assertive air,exclaimed,\"Mark what I say,gentlemen,that thing will neverstop.\"Now,if some unbeliever could have stood withthe Almighty in the beginning,when the earth was with-out form and void,when darkness brooded over the faceof the mighty deep,he would have had opportunity tohave said:“This thing will never start.”But it didstart.God swung the earth out into space,and while  \nmillenniums come and go the world goes on.
