Laminate for durability.  \n• Pick one sound you’d like the child to focus on at a time. More advanced children may be able to play the game using more than one  \nsound. Print off, cut out, and laminate those sound cards.  \nTo Play:  \n• Place the “beginning” and “end” words at the top of your work space.  \n• Shuffle your beginning and ending sounds (for the same letter, for example T)  \n• Show the child one picture at a time. Say the picture’s name together.  \n• Ask the child,“Where’s the T sound?” (at the beginning or the end of the word) .  \n• The child sorts the word under “beginning” or “end”.  \nIf you are working with (or assessing) multiple children at the same time, each child could be given their own “beginning” and “end” cards.
