1996,while in Rio de Janeiro,I made a promise to a very beautiful per-son that I would write a book that discussed the beauty in thisworld.This is such a book.This is a book of poems.Each poemis about my perception of the beauty found in people in my lifeand the world around me.There are 37 poems in this book.Eachpoem represents one very positive thought and year of my life.These poems look within to identify and isolate raw beauty andwealth created by a unified soul that shines in all of us.It is alsoa book about love and its boundless strength.Since the book wasmotivated by beauty,the poems attempt to personify beauty in allof its forms.I began my writing in 1997.This book has takenthree years to complete.Working full-time as a former Invest-ment Advisor while completing a Masters of Economics degreehas distracted me.This book says what I have wanted to say formany years.I thank Eliete for bringing this out in me.On onehand,writing this book has been very therapeutic,as it hasallowed me to articulate my feelings.Alternatively,this bookaims to identify with the feelings and emotions found in the spir-its of humankind.The writing of this book has been a verygratifying
