He walked and talked with them for forty days.  \nWhen He went back into Heaven, the believers began sharing the good news about Jesus.  \nThey met in the temple courts, and in each others' homes, sharing meals together and praising God.  \nThe people that lived in Jerusalem and the surrounding areas were very excited when they knew the disciples were coming to town. Miracles were happening every day.  \nThe sick and lame were brought into the streets for the disciples topray for them, and all of them were healed.  \nMore and more people believed in Jesus and joined with the believers.  \nThe people listening and being healed were very happy. But, the high priest and the rulers were not! They were not only jealous of Peter and John and the other disciples, but they did not like hearing that Jesus had raised from the dead.  \nThe disciples were arrested and put into jail.  \nDuring the night, however, an angel appeared to the prisoners and opened the doors of the jail. The angel told them to go back to the temple courts and keep telling the people about Jesus.  \nThe next morning the high priest sent for the prisoners.
