ofthe Christian Industrial Committee。During the past eleven years the workhas grown and matured under his leadership。He has enabled the ChristianIndustrial Committee to become what it is today.  \nThose who have had the privilege of working with him have come to respecthim for his many gifts:an innovative mind,constantly surprising thosearound him with new ideas and projects;a sharp sense for the one spot wherethe cutting edge of the Christian Industrial Committee could make thegreatest impact into the fabric of society;a strong urge to spreadunderstanding of the gospel among workers and the ability to raise issuesof faith。In the process Raymond Fung has become a theologian in his ownright.  \nThe Committee members and the staff are deeply grateful for all thatRaymond Fung has contributed.We are happy that we will be able tomaintain a elose relationship with him in his new function as ExecutiveSecretary to the Division of Mission of the Hong Kong Christian Council.We are been appointed as the thirdDirector of the Christian Industrial Committee(the first being MissMargaret Kane,who served for 2 years;the second,Mr.Raymond Fung,1l years)。  \nThe 1979!s was a decade of upheavals,a decade of grassroot revolutionsand commnon people challenging the establishment.  \nAs we move into the 80's,we think of this same group of peopletbuilding up'.Having been a labourer director of the Hong Kong Christian Industrial Committee(CIC),and shall assume responsibility as Executive Secretary for Mission,HongKong Christian Council。Mr。Lau Chin-sek,a colleague of many years,becomes the directsr of the CIC。This represents quite a change for me.But not really;I still.have the same address,the same office,and Ibelieveprthensameurcommitments  \nWhy the change?There
