industrial strength Visine in each eyeball, placed a new ribbon in the typewriter, made a pitifullunge for all the ladies in the office just to let themknow that I am still alive, and took a solemn oathto never again bet the spread on any bowl game, anywhere. \nPerhaps you have recovered by now.For thelife of me,I cannot seem to get this typewriter tostop moving.Hey folks,it's a tough, dirty job.Somebody has to do it.Beats the hell out of work-ing for a living. \nThe very best thing that can be said for 1983is that some of us survived. For the record,we havestated that 1980 was a \"dog,\"1981\"sucked rope,\"and 1982 \"beat a sharp stick in the eye.\"Well,old1983 can be held up as a \"survive.\"OK,settle down, nobody ever said I know grammar. \nLooking back on the list of FOR DOJ,MOSTOF IT FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT\n\nThe Reagan Administration plans to ask Con-gress for a $200 million increase in the JusticeDepartment's budget for next year. The increase,if approved by Congress, would bring the Depart-ment's budget to about $3.57 billion-nearly sixpercent more than the current fiscal year. \nIt would mean that a total of $1 billion hasbeenadded to law enforcement since PresidentReagan took office three years ago. \nJustice Department officials say the moneywould be spent to hire new agents for the FBI andthe Drug Enforcement Administration,to expandFederal prosecutors'offices around the country, and to build new prisons. Some of the funds areexpected to be targeted at programs to deal withviolent juvenile offenders. \nA total of 2,000 new jobs would be created, including 250 new agents for the FBI and DEA in1985.It will bring to 900 the number of newagents added since 1981. \nThe 1985 fiscal year begins on Oct.1. \n\"We've had the largest
