When singers speak the Ianguage ofmusic and instrumentalists learn 1yrics and do a little moresinging themselves,vocalists and players can make beautifulmusic together.  \nWe used Real Book charts fr Real Book tunes with somealterations to make lyrics fit.  The other tunes all comerecommended.  \nListened to a lot of Lambert,Hendricks &Ross,EddieJefferson,E1la,Sarah,Carmen,Mark Murphy,Tony Bennett,BettyCarter etc.  A lot of fun and hard work to get these chartstogether.  We had to leave out introductory verses and scat solosthis time -that would fill another book.Please let us knowabout more lyrics(write some!),errOIs,recommended tunes etc.through your Real Vocal Book agent.  \nFinally please don't lay a moral or legal trip on us.  Tryand get most of these tunes in good chart form at a store andyou just can't.
