The town is considered the city of business and hosts about 90,000 events a year. It has a full-time faculty and research projects involving those areas. In terms of infrastructure, it has, among other facilities, a Central Library of high standard, thematic and integrated laboratories, sophisticated facilities and equipment, as well as support services.
