their life and the Christian message.Multi-media projects like TWENTYONEHUNDRED or STREETLEVEL use slides,film and music to reach thousands of studentswith the message that man is lost without Jesus Christ.  \nIn furthering the goal of discipleship,chapters stressindividual quiet times with God,small group study and inter-  \naction,and larger teaching sessions.Close to 200 staff membersare devoted to helping students demonstrate responsible Christianlove and assert to the educational community the relevance ofbiblical truth to every issue of private life or public concern.IVCF helps students incorporate into their lives a horizontalhealing relationship with men as well as the living vertical rela-tionship with God.  \nStaff and student leaders create situations for intensivetraining in weekend retreats and conferences and through summercamping.In the U.S.A.,staff organize and teach Bible and Lifeweekends,a three-level course which helps students to developmore Christ-like life styles,to study Scripture inductively and tobecome trainers of less mature Christians.In Canada,the CrossRoads,a resource and study centre,is being developed with thissame end in mind.  \nCommitted discipleship is encouraged by Inter-VarsityPress literature and HIS magazine.The Branch,I-V's studentnewspaper in the States,and Inter-Varsity in Action in Canadafoster cross-pollination of chapter ideas from east to west.Numerous local papers reflect the initiative of groups in this area.  \nMissions is not dealt with only every three years atUrbana;it is a vital part of every IVCF chapter.The missionssecretary in a chapter is responsible for keeping mission needsbefore the chapter prayer group.Some chapters support individ-ual missionaries or the student ministry abroad through the IFESas part of their world outreach.  \nStudents、at Christian colleges and Bible schools workthrough the Student Foreign Missions Fellowship to encouragefellow students to
