Students receive certificates for completing short units of learning, covering virtually any subject, topic or activity.  \nThe aim of UAS is to enable ‘Achievement for All’, no matter how small or what that is as long as it gives the learner a worthwhile educational experience. Student confidence and self-esteem is boosted as the scheme rewards and celebrates what they can do.  \nUAS was established over 35 years ago and has a proven track record of success. Annually, it rewards approximately 30,000 learners of all ages and abilities.  \n2  \nBenefits to your teachers:  \n• access to a bank of over 10,000 units to use as is or amend  \n• option to write your own units tailored to what you already teach  \n• access to a suite of units linked to ELC Science that can be used to support and motivate learner achievement  \n• an on-demand scheme that’s available as and when you need it  \n• can be used to give credit to learning that might otherwise go unrecognised, eg in extracurricular or enrichment activities  \nBenefits to your students:  \n• clear targets and instant reward-certificates are generated within days of units being completed successfully  \n• increased engagement, motivation, performance and self-esteem  \n• a 'can do' scheme suitable for all learners no matter what their age or ability  \n• can be used as a stepping stone towards employment, further education or training.  \n3  \nScience education related units  \nThere are over 600 science related units written at all levels of achievement.
