Twix consists of two biscuit fingers, covered with caramel and milk chocolate. It is made by Mars, Inc.  \nForrest Mars invented it in the United Kingdom at Mars Limited headquarters in 1967. At that time, it was called Raider, not Twix. When it was introduced in the United States a decade later, however, it was called Twix. The company set up a clever website sharing \"Our Story. \" So, what exactly is the story behind these tasty chocolate sticks?  \nOnce upon a time, brothers Earl and Seamus had an unusual idea: to combine biscuit, caramel and chocolate into one beautiful bar. But as they developed their big idea, Seamus and Earl simply disagreed on almost everything.  \nThe brothers had no choice: they had to separate the company into two factories to make left Twix and right Twix. The brothers built their factories side-by-side, looking across the parking lot and making fun of one another's factory. The two used different techniques to pour the chocolate. The right Twix factory is known for crunchier cookies. The left Twix factory has more of a chewy texture. Seamus and Earl never made up.
